I figured that the dotted line on a road and the dotted line in magazines (where you're suppose to cut something out) could be combined. I shot it in June 2012, but I've just been working with it for a few weeks. I've been staring myself blind on it now and would appreciate your comments! Room for improvements? Good/Bad?

What comes to your mind when you see it? What's the story behind?

Great concept and execution, this image grabs your attention in multiple ways: first it makes a great impression when viewed as a smaller preview because the concept is startling but clear with good contrast and composition; next there's lots of details to keep your eye moving in the full-view image, such as the opposing biker and scissors, upside-down tree, and are those panicked birds or debris being flung from the upheaval?; and upon further observation you may notice that the artist has included more subtle features that make you wonder - are the shadows over the biker from an approaching storm? are there farmhouses nearby that will be affected? are those other fields just starting to peel too? etc.
A couple things that distracted me - but only upon looking at the image most critically - were that the grass has a "clone tool" look when closely examined, and I wish the bird/debris were a little more obvious. But both of these things may be the way they are on purpose, so take that with a grain of salt.
Synopsis: I think this is a very fun image that is visually and mentally entertaining! It shows that the artist obviously has amazing photo manipulation technique and originality.

It's always pleasing to see someone taking a concept and turning it into a "reality". It is a simple idea & executed well. Only two things that may help you, I found the curve of the left flap, (with the upside down tree) a little awkward, also, I can see you have attempted to introduce some debris tumbling from the flaps, as if to give a sense of movement, but in the scale of the picture, it is lost. Perhaps you could do something to make it more obvious? Well done, I can Imagine this on a large advertising hoarding by the roadside.
