Oi!:omg: That's pretty amazing. It gives a whole new meaning to "he swims with the fishes." You have to watch mob movies to get the meaning.=D

the feet are so stiff and symmetric, it gives a funny note like in a cartoon, I like that. it makes diving into a fresh hot street looking less deathly

haha hur bra som helst!

Very funny ! I like it, but, I would like to learn the steps to do a job like that. I have no idea about photomanipulation ! Any kind of specific software ?!
Your replay will be highly appreciated. Thanks. Carlos

nice... judging by the signs standing still I may think the biker did that purposely.. if one of the signs would've been on ground it'd look like an accident.

dunno, there's something weird about shoes/legs... baybe the light, and shadow behind
you may control the shadow of the red things (on the upper right): it is under, and straight to low-right direction. Try shadow bicycle and legs in this way.
MithriLady Featured By Owner Sep 25, 2010  Professional Artisan Crafter
maybe, lol
erenerdem Featured By Owner Sep 22, 2010  Hobbyist Photographer
bicycle is so successful but the legs are too straight for a person who is falling down by bicycle
the-holy-dark Featured By Owner Sep 20, 2010
That poor bicycle.

Yeah the legs are I don't know... too close at eachother or something, and to straight. And also the colors/ light (reflections) are not exactly the same as the road, maybe the bike is too shiny. Can't tell the exact 'thing'
And the asphalt is a bit too 'crackly'

But the idea is funny, and I have to say, I can not do it after you :)

Come On Erik we accept a lot from you.. You had set up high standards and I am really disappointed with some of your last work. Please don't mind. I seriously like your work. I am not saying this piece is not good but not of your standard. I am not a great photographer and I haven't done anything as good as you have done but somewhere I feel you need a break. The Experiments which you have done in past are lot better then what you are doing now. If you are satisfied then there is nothing wrong. Its my personal opinion. And plz plz don't mind its just my personal opinion.

I appreciate that you are honest, I hope you like my next one more. (will probably publish it in about a week or so)
snowpeace19 Featured By Owner Feb 9, 2013
Erik I was away from deviantart from quite a long but i saw your work, it kept popping up here or there. Infact your work was published in local newspaper and I was like oh Erik. And I was quite surprised as I live in small town of India so it was really surprising to see your work in local newspaper. I think it was way back in 2011 and I kept that newspaper with me and thought of mailing you the scans but I misplaced that newspaper, really sorry for that.

To be honest your recent work is way too good. You are really going good man. And recently I read you have shifted to Berlin. Well all the best to you. Waiting for something new and different :)

And I really liked your Set them free artwork and not to forget cut and fold too.

thanks a lot! yes it's going great! I'm so happy to be able to do what I love

actually I liked all of your old work more than this one, maybe you haven't spent worth time on it,
also I agree that the Bicycle have another light source and the legs look like a piece of paper pasted there
any way, my respect to your ideas :)
musigal Featured By Owner Aug 5, 2010  Hobbyist General Artist
nice. the only thing is that the legs seem TOO straight, if you know what I mean. maybe if you could add more droop?
FanArtistik Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010  Professional Interface Designer
I found funny this, but you asked for suggestions, I think that looks a bit different the guy/girl on the pavement and the bike in comparation with the background, maybe need to do a edition, to manage a equal tone of color to everything. It is my humble suggestion.

lovin' the use of converse and the entire concept. Clever, as always.
I was almost hoping to see the barriers knocked over, but they work as they are, as well.
JJPESTE Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010  Hobbyist General Artist
I think it's too dark so you cannot see clearly the effect of the drops of the cement.
Anyway the idea is really fantastic. I really admire your brain! :D
SpazzMarticus Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Immaculate implementation, but not as stunning as some other of you pictures.

Xero256 Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010
Suggestions? Try not to ride your bike onto unfinished pavement? Awesome pict. The hole where the person went in might need to be bigger tho.
Maverick-Srbija Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010  Hobbyist Photographer
Great idea, would be better if you'd managed to achieve better effect on destroyed asphalt. And legs look weird (because of shadows maybe). But in general, great work :)
comitee Featured By Owner Aug 4, 2010  Hobbyist General Artist
Great work!
I think you should improve the light on this one, the bike and legs doesn't have the same light that the rest of the image.
Also the legs seems too short for that bike (I would make the bike smaller), but maybe it's me :D.
The road it's ok, specially on the beginning of the path, but take one thing into account: if the cement is wet, it should be like waves, not broken. In the image it appears broken, like it's dry and hard to broke.

seriously man, amazing work ..

MMM ... maybe it can be little bit more space betwen laggs and bycicle or leggs and left corner. needs more space to fly over the road...

This is pretty funny. The legs look stiff to me. Like a pair of mannequin legs. Not sure if that was what you were aiming for though. Still, it's a very amusing piece of work
myaki-ru Featured By Owner Aug 3, 2010  Professional Filmographer
Great piece! Lighting on bike looks like studio light, not street light.
And generally, comparing this idea to your other works, this is too close
to what can actually happened. Not surreal enough, but I don't know
if it even a bad thing.

Anyway this one is awesome!
