The very last stop, the end of line.

Moving to Berlin 6 months ago was very exciting as I knew that I would get a whole new world to be inspired by. This is my first Berlin environment montage and there is a lot more to come. All the parts are shot around my neighborhood and the sky was shot from an airplane window on my last trip to Sweden. Comments on improvements and changes are welcome.

What comes to your mind when you see it?

I love it. There's a huge amount of solitude in this but it still seems calm and cheerful. It doesn't seem sad at all but very peaceful and perky.

What a vision! Yet I wouldn't like to live there :D And I wonder how can they repair the house when it's getting old. Well, at least they don't have to worry about burglars crawling up a window, I guess ;) Anyway :+fav:

This is stunning.

What I love about your work is that every image takes me to a new world which is both terrifying and intriguing in equal measure. You toy beautifully with our perceptions of normality.

In awe!

What comes to mind for me are several things:

First of all, I like the manip overall. But since you asked....
Why is the end of the line in the clouds? Did the building just spring up there? The train tracks aren't slanted to indicate an uphill ride to get up into the clouds. Does the train just go in reverse to get back down? Maybe seeing a train would help to clarify that.
Is the person at the bottom of the stairs going to jump?
How did the tree get there and why don't we see any roots coming out of the ground beneath the building?
I like the idea of it being the end of the line for life and that the people are waiting to die but why are there only 2 of them?
Where does the electricity come from for the street lamp?
The artistry is well done as far as manipulating the photo. I probably wouldn't have mentioned all of the above if you hadn't asked what comes to mind. Your question provoked me to question your work. So good job on that!! :iconlovelyheartsplz:

What comes to your mind when you see it?

where's the rest of the city ? why there is a railway(?) station for one building/house ? how did they made those Graffiti !! how that big tree lives at the top of the house or is it behind the house ? how cold is there ? why not those people wearing mufflers or sweaters or holding umbrella for clouds !!! what is the name of that pick, "end of the line" ? what time of the day it is, morning or evening ? where are the safety precautions for thunder storms..
