This is one of the more interesting takes on the endless staircase I've seen. Usually artists just add stuff to it, or add more layers, or change the shape, but you've actually changed the orientation of it and made it almost like a Möbius strip.
Wow, that's awesome. Seems it has a deeper meaning behind it though. Like even though you're going up (somewhere good) you'll always come back down; and it gets confusing sometimes, but you will once again go up, but no matter what there will always be the down. It equals out to have both, nothing can ever be "all good" or "all bad" and tends to always get confusing somewhere in the middle.
Anyway, that's just my interpretation.
It seems very Andy Warhole-like (I spelt his last name wrong, I believe..)
You're probably drowning in comments so I haven't got too high expectations for a reply. However, if there is a chance; may I ask how you make the lighting look so surreal? I'm talking about the ground/desert in particular. It looks fantastic man!
I usually decrease the saturation increase the contrast and sometimes increase the green a little bit. If that is what you mean. I haven't actually done much more with the ground, it was an amazing place in the desert, the light was already very good.
